A Superyacht, in the context of being a large and luxurious pleasure vessel, is a professionally crewed sailing or motor yacht with a load line length of 24 meters and above. These vessels are typically multi-decked and equipped with highly sophisticated navigational technology, not to mention the epitome of luxury and comfort. They offer extravagant amenities such as jacuzzis, gyms, swimming pools, spas, movie theaters, helipads, and more. Many of them also have multiple guest suites with an extravagant owner's suite, making it conducive for the high-class, elite excursions. Superyachts are designed for private leisure experiences and are often chartered for lavish vacations.

Interesting fact

The largest superyacht in the world is the "Azzam", owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Abu Dhabi. This massive vessel measures 590 feet (180 meters) in length, almost twice the length of a football pitch, and has its own submarine and missile defence system. It also holds the title for the fastest superyacht, reaching speeds of over 30 knots (around 35 mph or 56 km/h). Despite its grandeur and opulence, very few photos of the Azzam's interiors have been released to the public. It is estimated to be worth over 600 million USD. Interestingly, superyachts larger than the Azzam are currently being built, showing the ongoing trend of 'bigger is better' among the world's wealthiest individuals.
