How Commission Works — and Why It's Worth It

Sevendocks operates on a success-based model: you list for free and pay only when a booking is confirmed. The standard commission is 15–20% of the base charter fee (excluding APA and provisioning). This aligns our incentive with yours — we earn more when you earn more. Commission covers: platform listing and SEO visibility, enquiry pre-qualification, contract management, payment processing, guest insurance coordination, and 24/7 guest support during charter.

Payout Process

When and How You Get Paid

A 30–50% deposit is collected at booking confirmation. The balance is due 30–60 days before charter commencement. Owner payout occurs within 5 business days of charter start. APA is handled directly between guest and captain. Damage deposits are held in escrow and released within 7 days of charter completion unless a claim is filed. All transactions process via bank transfer or Stripe — no cash.

How We Qualify Guests Before They Reach You

All charter enquiries are pre-qualified before being forwarded to you. Pre-qualification includes: budget verification, identity verification (passport check for bookings above €10,000), intent confirmation (travel dates confirmed, group composition verified), and terms acknowledgment. Our rejection rate at pre-qualification is 35–45% of initial contacts. You receive enquiries from guests who have passed all checks.

Pro tip

Pre-screened enquiries convert at 3–4× the rate of raw enquiries. The time saved on unqualified leads alone justifies the platform relationship.
